High Street in about 1900.

The elaborate brick and stone facade is numbers 74 & 76 High Street. It dates from 1663 and shows the Dutch influence after the Restoration of the Monarchy in 1660. In the 1840s the second floor attic rooms were extended forward, the four gables were pierced, the top of the facade was levelled off and dot and octagon windows added on all three floors.
