Percy Woods collection of deeds and transcripts from 11th – 19th centuries

 

Penfold collection – a survey of houses and land in Godalming and the surrounding villages, and in Haslemere, taken in 1863

 

Printed and manuscript histories of local places, families and organisations, including histories of Surrey and publications from local societies

 

Prints, drawings and portraits

 

Photographs and postcards 

 

- Maps and plans, including tithe maps and apportionments

 

Family and local history sources for research

 

Other objects and items can be found on display in the galleries or in the library store

 

The library has a powerful searchable database to all the archives
